Unlocking the Potential: Women and Mobile Financial Services in Emerging Markets
I saw a recent survey today of Bitcoin users and it put use by women at only 5% or less. Just after seeing that, I saw a tweet about the report below. It looks like it's produced by Visa but many of the themes are applicable for mobile use of Bitcoin as well.

A great quote: "Examining the financial lives of women in emerging markets, their wants and needs become clear: convenience, reliability,
security, and privacy. MFS can play a meaningful role in addressing these needs, providing convenience while also ensuring
safety and dependable financial services."

Of those four characteristics, it is only convenience that is lacking with Bitcoin. That is not because doing transactions or using the software is all that hard. It's just because nobody really has any bitcoins in developing world.

Did you take a look? What did you think?
